Good morning beautiful people!
If you check the date of this post, I am posting this ~18 hours after my weekend. As many know, it has been an incredibly rough weekend with the snow, having accumulated with what looks to have been +/- three feet of snow all around. Everyone was going crazy with the snow, wiping out the shelves in the grocery stores, and with good reason I suppose. A lot of people making trips to ABC and all other places before getting stuck inside. BUT, I have to say, it was definitely nice to stay in all weekend and just…chill.
On Friday, the snow definitely came down hard after five o’clock and didn’t seem to want to let up. Now, I LOVE snow, I have no worries because 1. I work within walking distance, and 2. I have a truck. I was also equipped with all kindsssssssssss of food. More junk food than healthy, but I made it work. On Friday night however, it hit me hardest – my cravings – that I ended up eating two pints of Haagen Daazs White Chocolate Raspberry Truffle. Something about this particular ice cream that hooks you in and doesn’t let go. It was incredibly delicious, that the other bunches of ice cream I had, no longer looked or tasted great.

I ended up binging on food all weekend, having had a fat Jerry’s sub, and some other food I cannot recall at the moment. Needless to say, I probably put on two to three pounds from water and food combined.
On Sunday, my truck was completely covered in snow, and the surrounding area was unforgiving. It was late Sunday morning when I decided to get up, grab a shovel, and clear my truck out. It took me ~two hours to get it out, meanwhile it took others four to five hours? Unbelievable.
Deadlifting and squats came in handy over the weekend. All in all, it was a fantastic weekend with zero complaints, except this pesky lower back issues I’ve been battling for years, but that’s another story.
